It’s been almost a month since the WPTouch update (2.8.2) and my website haven’t receive any announce to update. Should I update manually or wait more time?

Hi Miguel— if your install is properly licensed, try visiting the Plugins area of the WordPress admin and seeing if the update shows for you there. If it doesn’t, you can try installing the upgrade manually.

BlackBerry 10 user agent is not listed under “default mobile user agents” in WPT Pro plugin settings (Active Theme>Mobile User Agents)

    It’s listed as BB10

How can you think that won’t be “properly licensed” and then me asking a question directly to you guys?

It is “properly licensed” and that’s what I wrote, is not showing me that there’s an update available.

If I do a manual installation, should I backup my custom theme, then deactivate, delete the old version and upload the new one and restore my custom theme?

    Hi Miguel,

Yes, please backup your custom theme, deactivate and remove the current installation and manually upload the latest version which you can download from your “My Plugins” page. Your settings will be safe. They’re also automatically backed up to wp-content/wptouch-data/settings.

I just looked again, & no BB10 listed in WPTouch Pro plugin under Active Theme>Mobile User Agents. I have not checked your site for a list of updated user agents. Just an FYI, A few months ago, I relied that list & it was not properly updated, & of course caused some users to see the mobile theme from their desktop due to my caching, so I have been using the user agent list within the plugin, as that was up to date at that time. Maybe I’m missing something…

So, is the correct name for the new user agent BB10 or BlackBerry 10.

The correct user agent is BB10… are you running the latest version of WPtouch Pro (2.8.2)?

“…are you running the latest version of WPtouch Pro (2.8.2)?”

I just upgraded to 2.8.2 from 2.7.1 and now wp touch is not working at all, its just like it was deactivated (but it isn’t of course). Have since deactivated w3 cache in case that had caused some sort of problem, but it makes no difference. When going to the site with a mobile device I just get the desktop version.

    What fun.
